Affiliate disclosure
Plain and simple: The Test Bench makes money through affiliate links, and we want you to know exactly how that works before you click one.

How we earn money
The Test Bench is free to read because it is reader-supported. Several links on this site point to the official website of the products we review, including Ignitra. Those are affiliate links. If you click one and then buy something, the manufacturer or its advertising partner pays us a small commission. The price you pay is exactly the same whether you use our link or type the address in yourself, you never pay more for going through us.
Why it does not change our reviews
This is the part that matters. Earning a commission does not buy a higher score, a softer verdict, or the removal of criticism. We rate proprietary blends down for hiding their amounts even when we earn on the sale. We publish one and two-star user reviews right next to the glowing ones. And when a product is overpriced or oversold, we say so, because a review that only ever says “buy this” is worthless to you and, frankly, to us. Our scoring method is described in full on our how we test page.
FTC compliance
We follow the U.S. Federal Trade Commission’s Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising (16 CFR Part 255). In practice that means we disclose our affiliate relationship clearly and close to the links it applies to, not buried in fine print. You will see a short disclosure banner near the top of every page that contains affiliate links, microcopy beside the buttons themselves, and this dedicated page for the full explanation.
What we are not
The Test Bench is an independent review publication. We are not the manufacturer of Ignitra, we are not the official Ignitra store, and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the brand. We review the product as an outside third party. Any trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify the products we discuss.
A note on the review content
The ratings, percentages and user testimonials shown in our reviews are editorial estimates compiled from publicly available feedback, presented to give you an honest community picture rather than a laboratory measurement. The review submission form on our site lets readers share their own experience; submitted reviews are moderated and do not feed automatically into the figures we publish.
